As one of our most valued customers and business partners, Panera Corporate constantly pushed Envysion to innovate and think outside the box in terms of our product and solution offering. In efforts to showcase the unique value of the Envysion solution to the Panera Franchisee Community, I created a short promotional video highlighting the power of our software as demonstrated through a Panera-centered use case.

To support the sales team in their outreach efforts, I created an e-mail and landing page for the video.

In addition to serving as the Creative Director and Producer of our first customer-facing video, I was also responsible for establishing the Envysion brand style for video projects.

The Process

Storyboarding

As my first video project for Envysion and in Premiere, the Panera Promo came with a unique set of challenges. In addition to my limited knowledge of the software, I knew little about the Envysion/Panera relationship and I had 2 days to develop and produce the final cut. There was no time to get lost in the details. I needed a compelling story supported by statement-making visuals.

The Elements of Style

I used the brand’s established typography (Proxima Nova) as the foundation for introducing new elements such as callouts, titles, and overlays. The accent color for the project was actually the biggest addition I made to the style guide. I choose magenta because of its subtle red undertones and because it provided a nice contrast from the brand’s traditional color palette.
