OVERVIEW

Member Resources, formerly known as Lawfordable, empowers unions and worker organizations by using a white-label service to promote the union and their benefits. They provide honest, legitimate help for working people that need assistance. They act as a bridge between unions and their membership. 

Everything they do is grounded in their values: Service and Value first. 

As a former union organizer, this project spoke to me on ALL levels. I was brought on to develop the new brand identity and website for Member Resources. 

Together we worked to create a friendly, and approachable brand that highlighted MR’s unique position as a partner that exists solely to support unions and their members– meaning the brand needed to feel established, but flexible. It needed to be friendly, but not loud. It needed to be able to blend into the partner’s brand when necessary.

We wanted the website to be clean, clear, and easy to navigate.

THE LOGO

A One-Stop-Shop to Build, Grow, & Support Your Members.

The logo was designed to represent MR’s position as a bridge and partner. The letters connect to form a bridge, they also overlap and are slightly transparent to reflect the value of the MR partnership: stronger together. To capture the warm and friendly nature of the organization I rounded the letters and used an earthy color palette. I also added a period at the end of MR to turn it into a statement, as in, MR is a one-stop-shop for all of your membership’s needs.
